Winter is back

It was 16 this morning with a wind chill of 3. Looks like we will have to find some inside work today.

Wet,wet,wet!

We have received 10" of rain since last Friday. A drive around the resort today showed some of the creeks in action.

2012 rainfall

We ended up with 73" of rain for 2012, 7" under our 80" average. 2013 is starting off wet as well with 4" to date.

Dead pine

We took out the dead pine behind the pro tee on #8. This tree was hit by lightning and was rotten on the inside. We made the decision to drop it before it fell on the tee box.

Tree trimming

The last couple of weeks we have cleaned up some of the lower lying limbs that hang over the cart paths. Here are some pics of 6 green going to 7 tee.

Roof update

We are patching a few bad areas on the maintenance building. Hopefully in march we will be able to install the new roofing material.

January thaw

With the warmer weather we are experiencing this week, we are taking this time to mow the fuzz off the tees and fairways.
