Sodding

Today we laid 4000' of fescue around the club house and a few select areas on the golf course. With the recent rains we have been getting, the course is really starting to look good. The greens will be getting faster as we have lowered our height of cut to .120. It won't be long now and this place will be glowing!

Verticutting

I'm a little late posting this, but the greens received a heavy verticut with a sand injection in march. It was decided not to aerate but to verticut instead. We removed a ton of organic material from this process. The greens will receive a light dusting of sand every 2 weeks during the growing season. Sometime in June we will follow up with a 1/4" tine to the greens to help them along the hotter months of July and August. The months of May , June, September and October will be a solid tine venting process. Next week we will be lowing the height of cut to the greens mowers which will be at .120. Greens should start to pick up speed in the next few weeks due to increased mowing/rolling and plant growth regulators being applied.

7 ladies tee

This pine was taken down last week due to some shade issues with the trial zoysia tee we installed last fall.

Bathroom renovation

Over the winter, we had the bathrooms at 9 tee completely redone. Everything was taken down to the studs. The bathrooms now are ada compliant, with all new fixtures and led lighting.
