Rain day
With over 3" of rain on Friday, we took the time to pressure wash and wax our turf equipment. We try to do this every other week during the season.
Snake update
We took the snake to a local vet to have the ball removed from its stomach. After surgery we set it loose. Looks like it had been in there for a while. By the way, it wasn't a pro v.

Anyone lose a pro v 1
We caught a black snake today while mowing the native grass. I know sounds boring, but it had swallowed a golf ball. I have seen a lot of crazy stuff before on the golf course but never this. It must have thought it was an egg.
Feels like fall
A cool front has passed through this week leaving some very nice temps. It was 54 yesterday morning and the afternoons have been in the low 70's with low humidity. Hard to believe this is July, we are very fortunate to live where we do.
Native areas
We are in the process of mowing the native areas on the golf course. Next we will spray a herbicide to clean up the weeds. While in the process of mowing we killed a couple of copper heads. Be careful when searching for your ball in these areas.
