As we go forward into the fall, be aware that frost may be present. If you happen to be out early walking the course, please keep to the cart path until the frost has melted. As you can see in these photos, someone walked down #1 fairway.

Frost delay
This mornings low was 29*. We had a very hard frost and tee times were delayed until 10:45. It makes for a difficult day when frost is present. We try to stay ahead of golfers mowing greens, tees and fairways. Please be patient with us as we try to stay ahead of play.

Soggy conditions
We have had 8" of rain in the past week with 6" of rain on Tuesday. With the latest storm brought lots of wind. We have hauled off 7 trailer loads of limbs that have fallen down. Most of the basins were clogged with leaves and the waterfall was roaring. Next week looks to be dry but much cooler with several days in the low 30's. I see frost in the forcast.

First frost
We had our first frost of the season on Sunday October 5th. The weather has warmed up this week with some rain in the forcast. Lots to do on the golf course in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
Morning sunrise
This is why I love my job so much. After the rain this morning we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise and a double rainbow.
