Aeration schedule

It's that time of year, the time that we get to poke millions of holes in your golf course. It's a necessary evil. Aerating helps reduce compaction, thatch, and get oxygen to the roots. This week we are aerating and topdressing the tees. This will be followed up with a fertilizer to help recovery. The week of October 28 we will close nine holes each day and do the same process to the greens. Hopefully with a little warm weather we can get some recovery on the greens going into winter. The entire month of November will be devoted to the fairways. This is a slow process and requires a lot of cleanup. Below are some pics of the tees that were aerated yesterday .
