Range aerification

Today we completed aerify inn the range as well as topdressing the greens. Next week we will complete the tees.

First frost of 2017

We had our first frost of the season with a low of 28*. This will slow the grass down and allow us to complete some other projects. As we move in to the rest of the golfing season, we will mow tees , fairways and roughs once a week, and greens 6 days a week. We still have a ton of aerification to finish before winter sets in.

We are looking good out there

The last few weeks have the course looking stellar.

Frost

We had a light frost yesterday with temps hovering around 32*. Guess we got our blackberry winter. It can warm up now. Even had to cover the clubs garden with frost sheets.

April showers bring May flowers

With all the rain lately, the course is starting to come alive. Everything is in bloom, from the rhododendrons to the pink lady slippers that hide to the right of 1 fairway. The fairways are tight, the temps are getting warmer and the greens are rolling true.
